General Guidelines for
The "Lotus" Discussion Group

This list is primarily for the support and education of Nichiren Shu members and friends. We support one another, elevating compassion over opinion. Not limiting expression however, differing opinions can be discussed openly, but always with respect and cordiality.

Many members and friends live far from Temples and Nichiren Churches. This is a place for contact, camaraderie, and support for the practical concerns of living this Buddhism. This is a place where we can share our concerns, dreams, and thoughts about Nichiren Buddhism.

Being also a forum for the introduction of friends and associates to this Buddhism, this group is open to new people under the general influence and in the spirit of Shoju.

Our Discussion Group, however, is closed to prosthelytization efforts of other sects, denominations, & religions. It is and will remain a safe place for the discussion of Nichiren Shu Buddhism & the Lotus Sutra.
