This year (2002 ce) is the 750th anniversary (as celebrated in Japan) since Saint Nichiren chanted the Sacred Title, or Odaimoku, on April 28, 1253.  The Los Angeles Nichiren Buddhist Temple will celebrate this anniversary in 2005.  Preceding this event, I would like to talk about the Odaimoku in this and following issues.
