The Lotus Sutra or Hokekyo is reported by St. Nichiren as the One True Teaching for the age in which we live. The
Hokkekyō
-
Lotus Sutra , is the Primary Mahayana Sutra that defines our tradition in Nichiren Shu.
There are two early Chinese translations:
1)- the
Miaofa lianhua jing 妙法蓮華經 by Kumārajīva.
2)
Zheng fahua jing 正法華經 by Dharmarakha.
