One of my brothers' daughter was married but was unable to have a baby for a long time. She finally became pregnant. Her whole family was anxiously awaiting for the arrival of the baby. However, she lost the baby through miscarriage. She was in such a distress that she spent many days crying.

However, a few months later, I received a baby shower invitation from my niece's sisters. I immediately visited Rev. Kanai and asked him to perform a special prayer for my niece's baby's successful delivery. I took the 'OMAMORI' or amulet to my niece, and she willingly accepted it from me.

One day, when the baby's due date was nearing, my brother called me to inform me that my niece was hospitalized because of the water discharge. I prayed for her all that day. My brother called me the next morning informing me that my niece successfully delivered a baby boy. It was such a joyful news.

My niece visited me with the baby on a later date. The baby was a healthy looking boy just like his father. The father was proudly watching the baby.

The power of Nichiren Shu's prayer for "successful delivery" is tremendous. It is powerful.

It was a joyful news that both the mother and the baby are doing well now.
