My Religious Experience:
When I came back from Japan in November, I fainted at home. I thought I was going to die but saved with the protection of St. Nichiren, my ancestors and an amulet.
I visited Japan from October 15 through November 16, 1999. To go some places in Japan I had to climb up and down long stairways of railroad stations almost everyday because I had to visit so many places. I was too tired to carry baggage when I arrived at the Los Angles International Airport. Fortunately my granddaughter who goes to a college in the city came to see me and took the luggage to a gate to catch a domestic flight to go to Las Vegas where I live.
My son came after me at the Las Vegas Airport and safely returned to my home. At midnight of that day, I fainted because of tiredness and cold. When I recovered consciousness, I found myself on the cold kitchen floor. I saw the door of the refrigerator was open and tried to close it but failed because I could hardly move, then I pushed the door with my leg.
I crawled to my bed, but my hands trembled and I could not get in the bed. I tried to call my son but did not do so because it was still 3 o'clock in the midnight. I crawled to a couch and lay down myself. It was so cold but could not reach for a blanket. When I left Las Vegas, it was still warm, the heater was still shut off. Because of the one month visit to Japan, there was no food and drink in the refrigerator. I was hungry, thirsty and cold. I was so lonesome and thought I might die. I held on to my amulet and chanted Odaimoku in the darkness.
Fortunately my daughter came to see me the next day. She went shopping for me. Although I got food and drinks, I still remained on the couch or floor for the next three days.
Recently I recovered a bit. I deeply appreciated protection of Nichiren Shonin, my ancestors and amulet. I wish to visit Minobusan one more time before I die, so I am chanting Odaimoku more sincerely.
