My Religious Experience:
My wife and I left Mission Viejo at 10:30 PM Wednesday night and arrived in Salt Lake City at 9 AM Thursday. (707 miles in 10 and 1/2 hours).
Our return trip took us from Salt Lake City to Reno, then Sacramento, and then on to Madera, Ca. We left Salt Lake City at 9:30 PM (California time) Sunday night and arrived in Madera, Ca. 11 a.m. the next morning (827 miles in 13 and 1/2 hours). We stayed over-night in Madera, Ca. and returned home Tuesday.
The first thing when I did when I arrived home was to go to the "Hotoke-sama (Buddhas and ancestors in the family shrine)" light the incense and recite "Namu Myoho Renge Kyo" - giving thanks to "Hotoke Sama" for a safe and trouble free 15 day - 2500 mile trip.
For us, home is still the best place to be!
